A Trip to the Farm

Wee M hung out on daddy on our trip to the Ottawa area children's farm.  She was a perfect angel for the entire trip!

After dropping Grammy & Pa off at the train station, Mummy and Wee M came home to play all afternoon!  She loves the toys in Chippy's room.  At one point she had herself balanced on Chippy's chair and somehow got the flashlight in her hands ... shouldn't be too long before she walks!!

First Dentist App't

Little Miss No Sleep had her first dentist appointment last Thursday.  Turns out she has two 'divits' on her front teeth where the enamel has not properly formed.  The dentist said that they are not cavities 'yet', but that we should be extra careful to brush her teeth.  He suggested wiping the front teeth down after she had gone to sleep for the night.  He obviously doesn't have kids of his own to think that's going to happen without her waking up!

(Little Miss No Sleep had her best sleep ever last night - only woke up once!!  Let's hope this is the start of a new Wee M!!)

Gampy's Truck

We have been getting lots of visits from Bubba/Gampy recently!  While Chippy loves his truck time ... Gampy made sure that Wee M got her truck time, too!  Will start her off small and eventually she'll graduate up to the real thing!

9 Month Dr Appt

Mommy was preparing Wee M for a few needles today, but turns out it was her lucky day - no shots!  She had a really nice Dr. that let her play with all his gadgets and do-dads.  No concerns at the appointment.  While her head didn't appear to grow at the last appointment, she more than made up for it at this one - catapulting into the top percentiles for her age!  She continues to be tall and skinny.  Stats were:

Head: 47.5 cm
Weight: 17.3 lbs
Length: 73 cm

The wee lady was learned how to stand up in her crib today to protest her naps!

Last Day of Freedom

Well, we've had our last day as a free girl!  Off to daycare tomorrow!!  And she's crawling just in time ... not a full out crawl, but she's found a way to inch forward when there's something she wants in front of her that's just out of reach!  Still jibber jabbering a storm ... and I have to concede that it is in fact 'dadada' ... arg.
