6 Month Dr Appt
Wee M had her doctor appointment on Monday and she did very well! Just a small yelp with the needle, then she was fine. Big brother Chippy got stickers that he then stuck on the side of the desk! Stats are:
Length : 67.5 cm
Head : 43 cm
Weight : 6.96 kg

We Caught A Tooth!
What a weekend for the wee lady! Her bottom left toothy-tooth has won the race to the surface and broke through the skin today. No picture as it is still quite small.
Other advancements include taking the bottle from Grammy this afternoon while Mummy and Daddy had an afternoon out. Conveniently Mummy has already given away her VIP Tragically Hip tickets on the basis that Wee M wouldn't take a bottle.
She is also sitting up a bit better - Mummy even left the room for a few seconds while she was sitting and she didn't topple over! On top of that, she was standing while supporting herself on my arm and on a toy. She's still wibbly wobbly but it's definitely a good start!
Napping is going better during the day. On most occasions when she is visibly tired, we can put her down in the swaddle, tucked against the side of the crib, binky in, one tug of the elephant tail music, and stroke her cheek... and just like that - she's asleep! Still working on night time sleeping.

Happy Girl
Well, since our little adventure home last week, Miss M is napping much better during the day! She'll now go down for more than 20 minutes at a time. I lost swaddle no.1 the other day and had to get her a new one which was okay since she grew out of the old one anyway. The new swaddle is amazing! Not only do we only have to use one now, but the attached pictures of a happy lady immediately after her first snooze in it... A 1 1/2 hour snooze!! Night time napping is still the same...

Grammy / Pa's - Part 1
I have been the most well behaved baby ever since embarking on this Ontario adventure. No one will believe that I cry all the time at home!
Since being away I have learned to sleep in a crib (swaddle - bink - and one pull on the elephant's tail) when it's nap time, sit up for longer periods of time with just a bit of assistance, and I will turn my head when someone calls my name.
I went for fries under the bridge, visited my Nana, and I still blow lots of bubbles when I'm happy!
