On another note, she says 'Dunning'! It's sort of a cross between daddy and dunning, but she clearly means dunning. She started repeating it the other day when we say dunning on the computer during a Skype call. Then tonight when I asked her where dunning was she started repeating it again. Sad when she says the dogs name before she says 'mama' while referring to me. (Right now mama means 'bring me more food or I'm going to have a hissy fit!')

Bedtime Routine
Chippette has a new bedtime routine and she is adjusting really well to it. We decided that if mummy and daddy were going to be able to get away to Boston, she'd have to learn how to go to sleep without mummy. So, now we come home from school, play for a short time, have dinner, (have a meltdown), have a bath, play in Chippy's room, brush our teeth, play in Chippette's room with the lights down and 'read' a few books, then put her to bed. Normally she cries softly for 5 minutes or so, but tonight she went down without crying. She's also sleeping through the night ... From 7:30 or 8:00 until 7:00 the next morning!! Yay for the little lady!

Ha ha ha! Pa took one look and this video, and said," She already qualifies as a Bowers girl....she and her phone are inseparable!"
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about her saying Dunning before Mummy.....Alec first words were Mike (Don and Dorth's dog), Max (our dog), and boat. Mummy was WAY down on the list!
I started laughing before starting to watch the video - looking at her hair! Oh, that's sooo cute, she and her phone!! She's getting so big, and so mobile!
ReplyDeleteHave watched this video about 5 times. She is adorable!! Can't wait to see you all at Easter. As for not saying Mummy.....Mummy was way down the list for Colin too. He could say "Mrs. Cuddy" who was Ian's teacher before he said Mummy! Her hair is a throw back to younger Bowers days as well. As for her phone....she'd only qualify as a Bowers if it was her ipad - those Aunties are hardcore!!
